Certification

Whether you are buying or selling, ask about our vehicle inspection and licensing services and process everything through us.

If you have an unregistered imported vehicle or vehicle whose registration has lapsed or been cancelled, it must be "certified" before being registered. This involves checking documentation and thoroughly inspecting to ensure that it meets safety standards recognised in New Zealand Vehicles with structural damage, repairs, or modifications must also be checked and certified by NZTA appointed specialists. Most vehicles certified for registration will require a VIN - "Vehicle Identification Number". This is a unique number used as the key identifier for the vehicle in all Motor Registration records.
